Boston Startup MMB Enlists StarLink for Media

McCarthy Mambro Ber tino is the latest agency to sign with Starcom MediaVest Group’s agency service division, StarLink.

Formed in April to handle the now-departed Boston Beer ac count, the Boston shop has shown an ability to grow despite the slow economy, winning ac counts such as Jiffy Lube, British Telecom and Thomasville Furniture. That fortitude was particularly appealing to StarLink.

“In this environment, it’s incredible they could kick off a business and be successful,” said Bob Kubis, StarLink’s CEO.

StarLink will handle the media planning and buying for many of MMB’s clients, as well as assist on new business.
