Bojangles Favors Price McNabb’s Retail Pros

ATLANTA Bojangles Restaurants has chosen Price McNabb as its advertising agency following a review, the client said. Wray Ward Laseter in Charlotte, N.C., and The Leslie Agency in Greenville, S.C., were among six finalists.

Incumbent The Reimler Agency in Charlotte, N.C., resigned the $3 million account, which went into review in July.

Charlotte-based Price McNabb said its campaign will debut this fall and include television, radio and in-store materials.

Bojangles is headquartered in Charlotte and operates more than 310 locations in 11 states throughout the eastern U.S. Randy Poindexter, senior vice president of marketing for the restaurant, said that Price McNabb was selected based upon its experience in the retail category.

“We started looking nationally, but Price McNabb’s creative work put them over the top,” Poindexter said.

Bojangles, ranked No. 7 among fast-food chicken chains, is expected to open an additional 40 locations this year.
