BMW has cut to four finalists in the review of its North American creative account, the client said. Moving forward are independent Anomaly and MDC’s Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners, both in New York, Omnicom’s GSD&M in Austin, Texas, and IPG’s The Martin Agency in Richmond, Va. BMW spent $150 million on ads last year, per Nielsen Monitor-Plus.



Merkley Loses Lipitor Account

NEW YORK Omnicom’s Merkley + Partners, the incumbent on Pfizer’s Lipitor account, has been eliminated from the review, leaving three New York shops vying for the estimated $60 million to $80 million account, sources said.
