BMG And BET Join Forces

BMG Entertainment, the New York-based music division of Bertelsmann AG, and BET Interactive, a Washington-based portal aimed at African-American audiences, have inked a strategic marketing alliance. BMG will promote its roster of music artists with listening parties, chats, editorial content and contests featured on BET Interactive properties 360HipHop.com and BET.com.

On Thursday, 360HipHop.com hosted a world premiere listening party for Run DMC’s new album Crown Royal, two weeks before the album appeared in stores. Over the next few months, BET Interactive will highlight many more BMG artists including RCA’s Tyrese and J Records’ Alicia Keys.
