Blocki in Consumer Role at A-T

Healthcare marketing agency Abelson-Taylor, which has previously only created advertising directed at medical professionals, has hired the former director of marketing for the state of Illinois Richard Blocki to head up a consumer-targeted practice. In the mid-1990s, Blocki spearheaded Illinois’ tourism efforts, winning a gold Effie in 1996. For the past eight years, he has been running his own shop, R. Blocki & Associates. At A-T, Blocki will be an account director, responsible for developing consumer campaigns for the Chicago shop’s current clients, as well as cultivating new ones. He will report to Jay Carter, senior vice president of the agency.
