Blattner Brunner Wins LaRosa’s Account

CHICAGO Regional pizza chain LaRosa’s has awarded its nearly $5 million advertising account to Blattner Brunner after a four-month review, according to the agency.

The independent Pittsburgh shop bested fellow independents SBC Advertising in Westerville, Ohio, Meyer & Wallis in Indianapolis and Gee Jeffrey in Cincinnati for the business. According to Blattner Brunner, the client’s 14-year incumbent agency, Northlich, Cincinnati, did not compete.

“Blattner Brunner made an outstanding presentation, and its business culture was the best fit with ours. It was clear from the start that Blattner Brunner values its people, and so do we,” said Pete Buscani, LaRosa’s evp of marketing, in a statement. “We are both interested in long-term relations, with our partners and with our staff.”

Founded in 1954 in Cincinnati, LaRosa’s has 58 restaurants in the greater Cincinnati area, including Northern Kentucky, Southeastern Indiana and the Miami Valley. The company is expected to spend nearly $5 million on advertising this year, according to the shop.
