Blanchard Joins MVBMS in Interactive Role

NEW YORK–Euro RSCG MVBMS Partners has hired Marc Blanchard as an interactive director/creative director, the New York-based agency said Monday.

Assigned to New York, Blanchard will lead an interactive team in the development of integrated online ad concepts and campaigns, primarily for the Intel account. He assumes duties formerly held by Brandon Griffin, who left the agency about a month ago, and will report to Michael Kantrow, lead account partner on Intel and managing director of MVBMS’ San Francisco office.

Blanchard, 37, comes to the agency from Zendo Studios, a Bay Area based online entertainment company that he co-founded in 1999. There, he helped create interactive brand efforts, including Absolut Director, Nike Freestyle Remixer and Nike Mindsprint.

Before that, he was at Red Sky Interactive for about a year as director of the products group, a research-and-development lab focused on broadband advertising.
