BigBad Scores in the Higher Education Field

BOSTON BigBad, an independently owned shop, said it has been hired by four colleges for a mix of online and offline marketing chores.

Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government in Cambridge, Mass., tapped Boston-based BigBad for a wide-ranging brand overhaul of its executive education program that includes print collateral design. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, also in Cambridge, hired BigBad to revamp and implement a Web site redesign.

A pair of schools in Pennsylvania, Drexel University and Swarthmore College, engaged the shop for, respectively, an interactive campus map and content management consultation services.

Combined spending is likely in the mid-six-figure range.

The new work is important for BigBad because “the word is spreading quickly in the higher education community about the results we are achieving for our clients,” leading to further assignments, said agency president Ty Glasgow.
