Borders’ spot highlighting how describing plotlines of books and movies brings folks together featured “something like 51 principals”—all detailing a plot to others in a seamless sequence, said Tim Roper, a cd at Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Miami, which did the spot. Thank director Jim Sheridan (In America, In the Name of the Father) for the continuity of the spot, shot in and around Los Angeles in October, Roper says. “Jim could probably act better than the actors,” he says.
