Becker, Lynch Join Holsted Marketing

Holsted Marketing, a direct mail marketing company in New York, has added Ed Becker as vice president of creative services and Scott Lynch as executive creative director. Becker comes to Holsted from People’s Bank in Bridgeport, Conn., where he was vice president of marketing communications and new initiatives. As such, he directed all aspects of the bank’s marketing efforts for national credit card and consumer loan products, including research, product positioning, advertising, direct mail creative and production, telemarketing, and Web site and e-mail programs. Lynch arrives at Holsted from Bookspan, an AOL Time Warner-Bertelsmann company, where he was executive creative director. He oversaw creative operations for nine book clubs marketed under various brands. Lynch managed a team of more than 30 creative directors, copywriters and art directors, and was responsible for the development and execution of all catalogs, direct mail, print and other direct response vehicles. Sears, J.P. Morgan Chase, Fleet Bank and Capital One are among Holsted’s clients.
