BBK Shuffles Senior Staffers

Founders Adjust Titles, Name Fisler CD
BOSTON–Joan Bachenheimer, co-founder of BBK, has turned over creative reins after eight years to Parke Fisler as part of a senior-level reorganization.
Bachenheimer assumes the title of chief executive officer and director of strategic strategies, while co-founder Bonnie Brescia, who had been executive vice president, takes the previously unused title of president.
Fisler, formerly the director of strategic services and a copywriter, has been with the Newton, Mass., shop for four years, working on accounts such as Syngergy Health & Fitness.
Bachenheimer will concentrate on the agency’s overall operations while continuing to oversee the creative process, she said.
Brescia, whom Bachenheimer called the “face of BBK,” changed her title to better reflect her level of responsibility.
Other management changes include the promotions of Robert Glover from senior vice president to executive vice president and director of strategic services and Karen Barzilay from director of public relations to director of marketing and public relations.
Maureen McNamara, the former president of Boston-based Wallwork Curry who joined BBK last year as senior vice president of business development, has added oversight of marketing to her responsibilities.
Bachenheimer said the changes more clearly define responsibilities.
