NEW YORK– Bartle Bogle Hegarty has won creative duties on ING Direct, the online and telephone banking unit of financial services company ING Group, the client confirmed.

Billings were not disclosed, but sources pegged them at $50 million when ING launched a search for an agency last year (Adweek Online, Nov. 28).

The other finalists for the business were Berlin Cameron/Red Cell in New York and The Martin Agency in Richmond, Va., according to sources. Incumbent Howard, Merrell & Partners in Raleigh, N.C.
