BBH Buys into Sao Paulo Agency, Neogama

NEW YORK — Bartle Bogle Hegarty is expanding into Latin America by buying an undisclosed stake in a Sao Paulo agency Neogama.

The Brazilian shop is a unit of Chicago-based Bcom3, which also holds a 49 percent stake in BBH. This is the fourth outpost for the London-based BBH, adding to offices in New York, Singapore and Tokyo. Founded in 1999, Neogama, has billings of $29.5 million, with clients that include Umbro, Bradesco and Gradiente.

Neogama founder Alexandre Gama, president and creative director, will continue to head the office which will now be known as Neogama BBH.
