REDWOOD CITY, CALIF. – A strong working rapport between BBDO’s East and West Coast media units, plus a clever interactive game woven into the pitch, helped BBDO Los Angeles zap the bulk of Sega of America’s $75 million in media business away from BJK&E Media/L.A. Sega consolidated its media at BBDO in a review that also included incumbent Bohbot Communications/S.F., plus Saatchi & Saatchi/Pacific, Torrance, Calif.; and Western International Media/L.A. Bohbot lost national kids broadcast buying duties, but will continue to syndicate Sonic the Hedgehog and buy kids spot TV.
