BBDO Taps Schneider for ECD Post

NEW YORK BBDO’s Don Schneider has been named evp, executive creative director at the New York office. He replaces Michael Patti, who left to become worldwide creative director and New York chairman and CEO at Young & Rubicam [Adweek, Feb. 10].

Schneider, 46, had been evp, senior creative director and a member of BBDO’s board of directors. He was also Patti’s partner for 10 years.

Schneider, who will report to BBDO chief creative officer Ted Sann, joined the New York agency as an assistant art director in 1980.
