CHICAGO Omnicom Group’s BBDO India has won creative duties on PepsiCo’s 7Up brand in the region after a review.

BBDO, which handles several PepsiCo brands in markets around the world, is the company’s lead U.S. agency. WPP Group’s JWT will remain the client’s overall lead agency in India, however, handling brands such as Pepsi, Mirinda, Tropicana and Slice, according to Punita Lal, the company’s executive director of marketing for India.

“Earning a place on PepsiCo’s agency roster in India has been a strategic goal for BBDO Worldwide for years,” said BBDO worldwide CEO Andrew Robertson.
