BBDO Readies Pioneer Ads

Omnicom’s BBDO West in San Francisco is set to launch print ads for Pioneer’s mobile-entertainment division that focus as much on the appearance of the brand’s car stereos as their sound, the agency said last week. The $5 million effort, which breaks in May issues of magazines, touts the AVIC-N1 entertainment and navigation system. One ad shows a car in the background and street signs indicating the intersection of “As a Matter of Fact” and “I Do Own the Rd.”
