BBDO New York has been awarded the Viagra business, currently handled by mcgarrybowen, sources said.

BBDO sister Omnicom companies CDM and Rapp have existing relationships with the brand. Healthcare specialists CDM, formerly known as Cline, Davis & Mann, handles HCP (healthcare professionals) initiatives and agency Rapp works on digital for Viagra. 

In 2009, mcgarrybowen won the-then $123 million account after a review in which incumbent McCann Erickson defended.

Execs at Dentsu's mcgarrybowen could not be reached.
