NEW YORK BBDO was the big winner at last night’s One Show awards, taking home both the top prize for its heralded “noitulovE” spot for Guinness and sharing the distinction of being the most-honored network.

AMV BBDO’s Guinness commercial (the title is “Evolution” spelled backwards) takes viewers on a humorous high-speed journey through time as present-day pub goers devolve to the precise prehistoric moment they began their wait for that fully settled pint.

Mary Warlick, executive director of The One Club, noted the rise in the number of commercials using sophisticated computer effects for animation and big production values normally reserved for movies.
