BOSTON Allied-Domecq’s Baskin-Robbins ice-cream shop chain is preparing to make a quick decision now that the finalists competing for creative chores on its $10 million ad account have completed their final presentations, sources said.

Contenders finished presentations to the Randolph, Mass.-based client yesterday. Competing are independent incumbent VitroRobertson in San Diego; Interpublic Group units Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos in Boston (which handles sister chain Dunkin’ Donuts) and Mullen in Wenham, Mass.; as well as Omnicom Group’s TBWA\Chiat\Day in New York.
