Ayer links up with Canadian Prism on an ATT deal

More than a year after selling its stake in McKim Advertising in Canada, Ayer has returned to that northern country via a relationship with the Toronto-based Prism Communications Ltd.
Sources said that Ayer, which weeks ago received a cash infusion from an investment group featuring ex-Saatchi & Saatchi executive Richard Humphreys, established a relationship with Prism in early 1993 to service client AT&T. Prism is an independent, privately-owned agency with estimated billings of $32 million.
Michael Ezay, Prism vp, termed the relationship a “very loose affiliation” with no discussions going about a merger. An Ayer spokesman said the agency was “very happy” to be working on the project.
