CHICAGO The Auto Club Group, a consortium of six American Automobile Associations in the Midwest, has put its advertising account into review, a client representative confirmed.

The Dearborn, Mich., client has contracted Boston consultant Pile and Co. to handle the search. Independent agency Chicago Creative Partnership has held the account since February 2004. It was not immediately known if the shop intended to defend the business.

In March of this year, agency president and chief creative officer Kevin Houlihan and client services director Brad Most left the Chicago shop to start their own venture.
