NEW YORK — AT&T has consolidated its consumer account at Young & Rubicam from Foote, Cone & Belding.

The two New York shops have split AT&T consumer duties for several years. FCB handled the 1-800-Call-ATT service and 00 Info directory assistance parts of the business, which are now shifting to Y&R. Y&R also handles AT&T’s corporate account, the consumer residential ads for AT&T’s personal network communications services, consumer long distance and consumer local phone service. Billings for each piece could not be determined, but AT&T spent about $380 million in media last year on its consumer business, per Competitive Media Reporting.
