After completing its merger with the Art Directors Club of Portland, the Ad Club of Greater Portland launched an interactive Web site,

“Now that the merger has taken place, we have a club that houses the creative side of things, along with the media side,” said Jodie Lapchick, creative director at Lapchick Creative, Portland, Maine.

“The new Web site is more artsy—this was partly to appeal to art directors,” she said.”The goal of the Web site is to build and strengthen the advertising community of Maine.”

The site, which replaced the Ad Club’s earlier version, features an events announcement and sign-up page, classifieds, and a colorful member gallery for viewing current creative accomplishments. All told, the combined clubs have more than 300 members.
