Arnold Wins Delta Faucet Account

BOSTON Havas-owned Arnold won the Delta Faucet account following a review, according to Pile and Co., the consultancy that oversaw the process.

The Boston-based shop overcame finalist The Martin Agency, an Interpublic Group agency in Richmond, Va., Pile said. Estimated billings on Delta Faucet are $15 million.

The Indianapolis-based client split with IPG-owned Campbell-Ewald in Warren, Mich., in April. That agency had worked with Delta Faucet for 15 years.

Eliminated from the review in the semifinal round were IPG agencies Lowe in New York and Mullen in Wenham, Mass., and Omincom Group’s Martin/Williams in Minneapolis. Omnicom’s BBDO in New York had been named a finalist but said it was cut from the process before the last round of presentations.

The win continues a solid new-business streak for Arnold, which since January has added work from Bob’s Stores, GlaxoSmithKline, Goodyear Tire, Pfizer’s Relpax, Timberland and Tyson Foods. The agency also successfully defended Fidelity Investments, which concluded a review in February.

“This search was a very competitive process where we met a lot of talented people from the different agencies,” said Charlie McTargett, client senior marketing director, in a statement.

“I had a great time working on this pitch and getting to know the team at Delta. I’m very excited about the opportunity to do great work that will help Delta stand out in the category,” said Tom Kelly, evp, executive cd at Arnold.
