The summer of swag continues, with yet another fast food chain creating a line of branded merchandise specially tailored to the sweltering season. The newest entrant—Arby’s—is trying to make a splash with swimsuits, Hawaiian shirts, flip-flops and sunglasses inspired by its menu.

In other words, everything’s covered in meat. (Or at least covered in images of beef and bacon—not the real thing à la Lady Gaga’s butcher-chic cocktail dress.)

For context, Arby’s has a long history of over-the-top tchotchkes, including the recent Deep Fried Turkey Pillow—which encouraged the napping everyone desperately needed in 2020—stylishly hilarious “meat sweats,” perfect-for-Oktoberfest “meaterhosen” onesie and a holiday subscription box with temporary tattoos, beanies and scarves.

The new apparel and accessories collection is the “latest example of showing up in unexpected ways,” said CMO Patrick Schwing.
