Arby’s Awards PR to Manning Selvage & Lee

ATLANTA Arby’s has retained Manning Selvage & Lee to provide public relations for the company after a review that included more than 15 national and regional shops, the agency said.

The Publicis Groupe shop in Atlanta will provide internal and franchise communications, media relations, community affairs and counsel on new product launches for the more than 3,800 franchise and company-owned restaurants.

The Atlanta office of Interpublic Group’s Weber Shandwick had been providing PR support for the Atlanta-based company for the past year on a project basis. Weber Shandwick did not participate in the review.

“Our goal was to identify a communications consultant that will help us build the Arby’s brand as part of fully integrated marketing strategy,” said Keith Gordon, vice president of brand development for the restaurant chain.

The annual fee structure was not disclosed.
