Aquarium goes fishing





In California, the Monterey Bay Aquarium launched a search for an ad agency to handle its $725,000 account . . . S.F.-based Blue Shield of California last week began notifying agencies competing for its $12-million account that it had cut its list of firms. Contenders undisclosed . . . The board of directors of the San Francisco Visitors and Convention Bureau will vote this week to select an ad agency to handle its $600,000 account.
