CHICAGO Carat has promoted Elizabeth Amstutz to managing director of its office here, according to the agency.
Amstutz was previously a group director at Carat, part of the Aegis Group, in New York. She takes over leadership of the Chicago office from Susan Rowe, who remains in Chicago as evp of Carat Direct.
Amstutz, who joined Carat in 1999, previously held media and account posts at D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles. In her new job she will oversee the office and its account management team.
