LOS ANGELES Amgen has narrowed its estimated $40 million media review to Interpublic Group’s Initiative Media, Los Angeles; WPP Group’s MindShare and Mediaedge:cia; both New York; and Publicis Groupe’s Starcom, Chicago, sources said.

Final presentations are scheduled for the first week in April with a decision expected by the middle of the month. The assignment is for direct-to-consumer advertising for Neulasta, the Thousand Oaks, Calif.-based biotech firm’s chemotherapy infection fighting drug, according to sources.
