Ames Scullin O’Haire here broke a series of ads for Danka Business Systems this past weekend on CBS TV’s preview coverage of the PGA Championship.
The spots are a prelude to a print campaign breaking this week in national newspapers and magazines.
One spot, “Golf,” shows a golfer staring down a seemingly endless par 5. When he asks for his driver, the caddie offers a nine iron, clearly not the club for such a distance. In fact, his caddie has loaded the bag with nothing but nine irons, giving the player only one club choice for all his shots.
The ad points out that Danka can customize its office products to a consumer’s needs instead of a one-size-fits-all approach.
