SEATTLE — Amazon.com Inc. has rolled out a promotional campaign to get consumers to stock up on electronic goodies.

Some registered Amazon (AMZN) users received promotional e-mails this week telling them they can take $20 off electronics orders of $150 or more.

The e-mails say the promotion, part of a “Back to School, Back to Work” marketing drive, will be available until Aug. 31. The offer doesn’t cover purchases made at Amazon’s Cell Phones&Service, Software, or Computer&Video Games stores.
