ORLANDO, FLA. — Allied-Domecq is consolidating U.S. media planning for its liquor brands at Zenith Media, New York, sources said. Zenith, Allied-Domecq’s media buying agency, is picking up the additional assignments from the Westport, Conn.-based marketer’s brand agencies, including BBDO, Chicago; dRush and Bates, both New York. The advertiser spends $40 million-plus, according to CMR. Allied-Domecq brands include Beefeater’s, Kahlua and Stolichnaya, among others.
