Two executives at McCann-Erickson’s flagship New York office have been promoted to executive vice presidents from their current posts as senior vice presidents.

Kevin Allen (shown here), group account director, and Mark Stewart, media director, were promoted last week by James Heekin, president of McCann-Erickson North America.

‘These promotions are recognition of two senior leaders who have played pivotal roles in our success over the last 18 months,’ said Heekin, who oversees the office.

Allen, 42, works on some of the agency’s biggest accounts, including AT&T, Marriott Lodging International and Smith Barney. He is also active in McCann’s new business efforts.

Stewart, 37, oversees more than $1 billion worth of media planning and buying for McCann’s New York clients.

With the promotions, there are now a dozen executive vice presidents in McCann’s New York office, which has about 900 employees.
