BOSTON Men’s premium footwear company Allen-Edmonds said it has selected independent shop Olson following a review. The agency in Minneapolis will now develop all integrated brand efforts for the Port Washington, Wis.-based client.

“We were struck by the passion, energy and vision of Olson, as well as their extensive experience and holistic approach to brand building,” said Mark Birmingham, Allen-Edmonds’ president and CEO.

The client spent more than $4 million in U.S. measured media last year and about $1 million through the first eight months of 2007, per Nielsen Monitor-Plus.
