CHICAGO-Three Minneapolis shops will square off for Johnsonville Sausage’s $5-10 million account.

Executives from the Kohler, Wis., company narrowed their search to Carmichael Lynch, Kerker and Periscope, eliminating D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles in St. Louis and Barkley Evergreen & Partners in Kansas City, Mo. Minnetonka, Minn., consultant Jan Apple is overseeing the review.

The three shops will be given a strategic project this week. A decision is expected next month.

Johnsonville split with five-year incumbent Clarity Coverdale Fury in Minneapolis in November.
