AHA Taps Lumina Americas

Lumina Americas, an interactive agency that specializes in reaching the U.S. Hispanic and Latin American markets, has been selected by the American Heart Association to initiate an outreach program to educate Latinos in the U.S. about heart disease and stroke. The effort, which will include a variety of online programs including direct e-mail, is scheduled to begin in the fall.

Lumina’s integrated communications program will begin with market research, which includes in-depth data mining to identify Latinos that are currently involved with American Heart Association, as well as focus groups to test awareness and gain consumer insights. Spending by the AHA was not disclosed.
