BOSTON-The Agfa-Gevaert Group has retained Pile and Co. here to conduct an agency review for its $10-12 million, mostly business-to-business ad account.
The Boston-based consultancy is in the early stages of putting together a list of contenders for a worldwide assignment. That list will be assembled within the next two or three weeks, according to Pile President Skip Pile.
Ten-year incumbent Anderson & Lembke in New York has been given the option of defending the account, Pile said.
“We stand behind the work we have done for them and what we are capable of doing for them,” said John Athorn, A&L’s managing director and executive creative director.
