BOSTON Itraffic, an interactive marketing and advertising subsidiary of Omnicom Group’s, said it has launched a new effort for BrownCo designed to drive enrollments at the online brokerage.

The work, part of a broader integrated effort themed “What you want,” seeks to position the Boston-based client, a unit of JPMorgan Chase, as a streamlined, efficient service with powerful tools for seasoned online investors.

A full-page banner and box will run on financial sites including CBSMarketWatch, SmartMoney and TheStreet through year’s end. Online ads will complement print and TV spots from Interpublic Group’s McCann Erickson in New York [Adweek Oct. 18].

The client has said it spends about $15 million annually on combined online and offline marketing efforts.

“Thanks to our long-standing relationship with itraffic, not only do they understand what we want, more importantly, they understand what our customers want,” said Kim Colombi, director of marketing for BrownCo, in a statement.

Itraffic in New York has worked for the client since 2001.
