Adds Strategy, Client Services Execs

NEW YORK has hired a pair of management executives in its New York office to lead strategy and client services.

Philippe Guegan, 37, will head up strategy planning at He arrived from independent interactive shop Blast Radius, where he worked as a strategy director in its New York office. The position was vacant.

Steve Baer, 34, is’s new vice president of client services in New York. He was a managing director and partner at FullSix, a London-based Web agency, from 2001 to 2006. He fills a position vacated by Adam Lavelle, who left last April and joined search shop iCrossing.

Both Guegan and Baer report to David Eastman,’s CEO.

The Omnicom Group agency has revamped much of its leadership in the past year, following the departure of CEO Don Scales in February 2006. Eastman, who took the reins of the shop last March, is serving as acting managing director of’s New York office following the departure of Eric Valk Peterson in November.

Eastman is aligning the agency with TBWA Worldwide’s network, focusing on growing’s international business. In the past nine months, has opened three European offices and plans Paris and Shanghai outposts this year.
