The client is a pediatric pharmaceutical company based in Wilmington, Mass. Palio, which specializes in healthcare and consumer products, provides services in the following areas: business-to-business advertising; brand development; analysis and management; consumer advertising; global marketing; interactive communications; relationship marketing; product launches; strategic planning; and creative services. The Sara toga Springs-based agency is a subsidiary of inChord Communications, a global group of communications companies headquartered in Columbus, Ohio.The Carbone Smolan Agency created a new brand identity and Web site for Chadbourne & Parke, a New York-based international law firm. The New York-based shop's branding effort includes stationery, a logo and an identity-standards manual. Marketing and advertising agency The Coastal Group won the CoasterStone national print advertising and public relations account. The New York-based shop, which also provides direct mail and catalog services, will promote CoasterStone coasters' absorbability, design and functionality via an advertising, marketing and public relations campaign. The product line, which is manufactured and distributed by Indiana polis-based Hindostone Products, features designs by a variety of artists. The MWW Group's New York practice will handle media and analyst relations and general brand building in the U.S. for Vanguard Security Technologies, a Yokneam Illit, Israel-based e-mail security com pany. The public relations agency is based in East Rutherford, N.J.New York-based Schwartz Public Relations Associates was tapped by Dance Theatre of Harlem for both corporate and performance-publicity efforts. The New York-based client's organization includes a ballet company, a dance school, and an arts-education and community-outreach program.Peter Island Resort appointed Laura Davidson Public Relations as its public relations agency. The New York-based shop will be responsible for all publicity and promotions for the resort, which is located in the British Virgin Islands. LDPR specializes in travel and tourism accounts. NEW JERSEYChemical Engineering Process, the flagship publication of the New York-based American Institute of Chemical Engineers, named Studio 21 Advertising to handle its online and offline advertising, promotional and public relations programs. The agency has offices in Randolph and Forked River. The Lawrenceville and London offices of Integrated Communications Corp. changed their name to Interlink Healthcare Communications. The newly renamed entities will remain part of healthcare-advertising agency ICC Group of Cos., a unit of the Lowe Healthcare network. The ICC Group also includes the Alliance for Scientific Affairs in Parsippany and Integrated Communications Corp.'s Parsippany office; the name of the latter will not change.DKB and Partners, an advertising, public relations and interactive-marketing shop, was hired by The Singing Machine Co. to handle public relations and national print and TV advertising for its line of home electronics-karaoke equipment and music. The Morristown-based shop will also create a publicity campaign to promote the client's MTV-branded karaoke machines and CDs with graphics. The Singing Machine Co. is based in Coconut Creek, Fla.Florham Park-based Automatic Switch Co. tapped Gianettino & Meredith Advertising in Short Hills to handle integrated marketing communications for its Red-Hat line of solenoid-valve products. This will include trade advertising and direct marketing efforts. PENNSYLVANIALuna Technologies, which designs and manufactures optical vector analyzers for fiber-optic-component testing, named The Simon Group its marketing-communications agency. The Simon Group, based in Sellersville, specializes in high-technology and industrial accounts. The client is based in Blacksburg, Va.
