MINNESOTA Arctic Cat hired Padilla Speer Beardsley in Minneapolis as its agency for investor relations, including communications programs targeting shareholders, analysts and brokers. MISSOURI Shure Marketing Corp. named The Hughes Group in St. Louis as its agency of record. The client is a manufacturer of automotive shop furniture, security transaction systems and food and beverage service cabinetry and systems. Kochan & Co. Advertising in St. Louis was selected to provide American Equity Mortgage with creative services, including graphic design for print advertising and sales promotion programs. EAT Advertising & Design in Kansas City was selected to produce a regional ad campaign for Westlake Ace Hardware. OHIO Sive/Young & Rubicam in Cincinnati was chosen as agency of record for Beech Acres, a child-focused family services agency. Additionally, the agency has received a project assignment from United States Playing Card. Freedman, Gibson & White in Cincinnati was awarded advertising, media and public relations responsibilities for Bob Sumerel Tire Co., a chain of 21 retail stores in Ohio. Hensley Segal Rentschler in Cincinnati was named a strategic marketing communications partner for GE Plastics.
