Sportif recently named En Vision Advertising and Marketing in Reno as its agency of record. En Vision will handle public relations management of national strategic communications and media relations for the company and its new line of outdoor apparel.

Pandesic Company hired Addis Group in Berkeley to create its corporate identity. The agency’s experience creating package designs, corporate identities, brand names and Web sites comes through work for Intel, The Learning Company, Berkeley Systems, Pepsi, Clorox, Dole, Kraft, Sara Lee, Preview Travel and Gordon Biersch.

Numetrix has selected Portland-based Karakas VanSickle Ouellette Advertising and Public Relations to develop its integrated new media campaign, including a Web site, CD-ROM and multimedia presentation.
Perpetual Promotion in Portland has been selected by Portland Brewing to help coordinate the company’s “Official Microbrew” sponsorship of the Nike World Master Games during the summer of 1998.

Rag Dog, Los Angeles, has retained Ruben/Rottman & Co., also in Los Angeles, to handle public relations. Rag Dog produces a canine fashion line that includes rain ponchos, denim jackets, overcoats, hats, travel bags and backpacks.
Creamer Dickson Basford in Irvine has been selected to handle public relations for Newport Beach-based Infocon America, which offers electronic publishing software services.
Hilary Kaye Associates in Newport Beach has added International House of Pancakes, based in Glendale, to its client list.
Pioneer New Media Technologies in Long Beach has appointed Roberts, Mealer & Co. in Santa Ana as its public relations counsel.

Los Angeles-based Adlink has developed a strategic arrangement between A&E Television, Ralphs Grocery Company, Pillsbury and the Southern California Volvo Dealers Association. The joint marketing effort will promote Ralphs 125th Anniversary, A&E’s Biography program, the new Ralphs Club Card Program and the new 1998 Volvo V70 Wagon.
