Cooley Advertising & Public Relations, Phoenix, was tapped by nonprofit group Mothers Arms for advertising, broadcast production, graphic design, media planing and buying and Web site design. - COLORADO Griff Advertising and Public Relations in Boulder was tapped by Sequin Medical Corp. of Arvada to launch a campaign for its Solo-Turn Rotating Cradle Bed. TDA Advertising & Design, has relocated to Boulder from Longmont, increasing its floor space to 4,000 square feet. The move is designed to make the offices more convenient for staff and clients. Mister Neat's Formalwear selected Big Cat Marketing Communications in Colorado Springs to strategize, design and implement its 2000 campaigns for the wedding and prom seasons. - NEVADA Hands Ink Advertising/PS Media, Las Vegas, was recognized by Opportunity Village, a vocational training and employment services program for the disabled, for donating 10 outdoor boards to advertise its vehicle donation program. Trahan, Burden & Charles in Reno and the Nevada Commission on Economic Development announced a joint plan to create a state ad campaign for the new millennium. Forms Management Data Systems, a Reno-based software systems provider, named Envision Advertising & Marketing in Reno its agency of record. The Rose/Glenn Group in Reno received four Ace awards from the American Marketing Association. - NORTHERN CALIFORNIA CMI/F.Y.I Direct, San Francisco, has merged into its operation two direct marketing companies: Mailing & Marketing in Orange and Global Press in Tulsa, Okla. The Association of Asian American Advertising Agencies announced its Dragon 2000 board members. Eliot Kang of Kang & Lee Advertising continues as president through 2002, and Wei-Tai Kwok of Dae Advertising continues as secretary through 2002. Napa Valley-based Trinchero Family Estates, which owns the Sutter Home Winery, has redesigned the Web site of its Amador County Winery in Montevina. Addis Group, Berkeley, launched identity and packaging redesigns for Glen Ellen Wines in Glen Ellen and for the Discovery Channel Stores in Berkeley. Logothreads, a North Carolina-based Internet marketer of corporate casual sportswear, named Battenberg, Fillhardt & Wright, San Jose, as its first agency. The shop is developing an online and business-to-business campaign targeted for a July 1 launch. Billings are estimated at $2 million. - OREGON Tyee Euro RSCG in Portland was tapped by Excite@Home to launch an ad campaign. Rosen/Brown Direct Advertising in Portland was named agency for eVineyard.com, an online wine store. Obie Media Corp., Eugene, will provide transit advertising services to the Hillsboro Regional Transit Authority in Tampa, Fla. - SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Szenderski/Rohani Worldwide, Irvine, has formed an alliance with London-based media agency Carat, which will give the agency's clients access to Carat's research and worldwide media buying capabilities. Separately, the shop also landed a $3 million branding assignment from Entelechy Training & Development Co., Irvine. New advertising is due to launch this month. Alcone Marketing Group, with offices in Irvine, Darien, Conn., London and Hong Kong, will relocate to a new 92,000-square-foot facility at the Irvine Spectrum. The move is expected by mid-July. Oink Ink, Los Angeles and New York, has created a radio campaign for Fox Sports Net launching the network's coverage of Major League Baseball. Nelson & Gilmore, Redondo Beach, was selected by real estate investment firm Delma Properties, New York, to develop an advertising and public relations campaign for Delma's Wilshire Manning high-rise condominium project in Los Angeles. EnGenius Technology, a Costa Mesa-based provider of long-range cordless business phone systems, tapped Aalgroup, Woodland Hills, to provide public relations, brand identity, retail support and creative services. Boyd Communications, Los Angeles, was hired to create an image and identity program for Lockheed Federal Credit Union, which serves a key division of aerospace giant Lockheed Martin and other large companies in Southern California. FMJ Adcomm of Venice, which serves the healthcare profession, has opened an office in Irvine. The Research Institute of Children's Hospital in Los Angeles tapped Boyd Biomarketing to create a collateral piece for its new blood component model to be sold at the retail level. HNC Insurance Solutions tapped The Schraff Group in Newport Beach to launch a marketing campaign. Vincent Paterson of Dark Light Pictures in West Hollywood was tapped by Dailey & Associates, West Hollywood, to create two 30-second TV spots for the El Pollo Loco restaurant chain. Riot, a creative digital studio in Santa Monica, recently provided film transfer and colorization services to TBWA\Chiat\Day in Playa del Rey for a national Infiniti campaign. Cooper Communications, Woodland Hills, was retained by the Warner Village III Homeowners Association and the Woodland Hills Chamber of Commerce for public relations duties. Farr Marketing Group in Los Angeles was tapped by United Pacific Mortgage for a media relations campaign. L&M Marketing, Costa Mesa, was selected to launch marketing programs for the Inland Empire Division of Standard Pacific Homes. NQL Solutions, the Internet technologies division of AlphaServ.com, hired Lages & Associates, Irvine, to handle public relations for its Internet software development platform. BDS Marketing, Irvine, has relocated to a 42,000-square-foot office and warehouse facility that is the former home of Oakley Sunglasses. - WASHINGTON JayRay Ads & PR in Seattle was honored at the 2000 Communicator Awards Competition for its work for the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Click!
