Evergreen Bank, which operates 26 locations in upstate New York, has chosen Fairbrother and Co., Chatham, to develop an integrated marketing program. The agency will create regional newspaper ads, TV and radio spots, direct mail, in-bank signage and collateral materials. Evergreen will continue to handle media buying, with Fairbrother acting as an adviser on media planning and placement.
Lenweaver Advertising+Design in Syra-cuse has designed a Web site for Healthy Oven, a Croton-on-Hudson producer of low-fat baking mixes.
CONNECTICUT
MTX Paging Products, a joint venture of Motorola and Timex, has awarded the national ad launch of its first product, Beepwear, to The Hughes Agency in Norwalk. Hughes will create a TV, radio and print campaign for six major markets that will break in January. The agency is partnering with Media Inc. in New York on a media buy of $5-10 million.
Perkin-Elmer’s analytical instruments division in Norwalk has retained The Atlantic Group, also in Norwalk, as its agency. Atlantic will be responsible for advertising, direct mail and relationship marketing programs.
NEW JERSEY
HBO has chosen The Harrington Group, Morristown, to develop its second-quarter 1998 affiliate promotional campaign. The agency was also selected by Sony’s Recording Media and Energy Group to develop product packaging and print ads.
Gianettino & Meredith, headquartered in Short Hills, has opened an office in Cherry Hill to service the Chevrolet Philadelphia Dealer Marketing Group.

Ultimate Vision, a sunglass designer and manufacturer, has named The Brownstein Group of Philadelphia its advertising and public relations agency.
Tandem Associates, Blue Bell, has developed a new marketing position for a chain of 15 Roy Rogers restaurants in Maryland and Virginia. The TV and radio commercials feature customer testimonials and employ the tagline, “Good food. Great service. Get it right at Roy’s.”
Lindhult & Jones in Chalfont was named agency of record by Precicontact Inc. of Trevose. The Monthey, Switzerland-based parent company makes interconnection devices for the aerospace, computer, medical and telecom industries.
Rick Williams and Scott Cohen, both formerly with Devon Direct Marketing and Advertising in Philadelphia, have formed Williams & Cohen Direct in Wayne. The agency has signed EMS Financial as its first direct marketing client.
Gray Baumgarten Layport, Pittsburgh, was named advertising agency of record for Lee Regional Health System, a network of healthcare services serving Johnstown and Cambria and Somerset Counties. GBL is responsible for all print and broadcast advertising, direct marketing and collateral materials.

AkPharma Inc., Pleasantville, N.J., has retained Elkman Advertising & Public Relations, Bala Cynwyd, as its agency of record. The anticipated annual budget for the account is in excess of $5 million, according to the agency.
