In an effort to create behavioral change in consumer buying habits, Tide turned to two of the hardest working men in America—Stone Cold Steve Austin and Ice T—for its ubiquitous “Cold Callers” campaign.

The P&G-owned laundry detergent wanted to encourage a more sustainable way of washing clothes by using cold water instead of warm, and save $150 a year for each customer on their energy bills doing so.
