DALLAS Susan Adkins has been named second lieutenant governor of the American Advertising Federation’s 10th District, the organization said.
Elected to her new post at the association’s recent annual convention in Oklahoma City, Adkins will oversee operations for the 10th District, which includes the areas of Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
As second lieutenant governor, Adkins will serve on the executive committee of the 10th District and oversee the work of several district committees. Since this office advances automatically, Adkins will move up to first lieutenant governor in 2005-06 and will serve as governor of the district in 2006-07.
