As the buzz grows around Adele’s upcoming album 30, the pop star debuted her latest single in Amazon’s Christmas ad.
Her new song “Hold On” is the soundtrack of the ad, which was released on Monday and tells the story of a young woman struggling to adjust amid the pandemic. The lyrics are fitting, as they describe Adele’s own battle with anxiety and include lines such as: “Every day feels like the road that I’m on might just open up and swallow me whole.”
