BOSTON Adams & Knight won best of show at the 50th annual Ad Club of Connecticut Awards, scoring for its humorous “Macho 1 and Macho 2” point-of-purchase campaign for outdoor outfitter client Ridgerunners.

The independent agency in Avon, Conn., also won eight gold awards as well as a special gold Pen prize for best copywriting. Adams & Knight took home 35 total awards, most on the night, while Keiler & Co. in Farmington, Conn., won the most golds (nine).
