Ad of the Day: Tracy Morgan Is Back to His Shouty, Ridiculous Best for Beats by Dre

In this Christmas ad, he's got good evidence he hasn't been naughty

Equal parts oblivious and opinionated, Tracy Morgan's loud-mouthed comic persona has always managed to make light of just about anything. And his own near-death experience is no exception. 

In a Christmas spot for Beats by Dre, Morgan continues his return to the public stage, following his SNL hosting and Foot Locker ad apperances with a long-form video from agency R/GA's Hustle L.A. unit. 

The Night Before Christmas sendup is a bit of a slow burn, making you get through Morgan's introductory shouting and some not-actually-funny bits about being henpecked by his wife. But the second half is worth the wait, with Morgan explaining that his nearly fatal car injury in 2014 had one silver lining: He couldn't be very naughty while in a coma. 

He also shows you why being Tracy Morgan's son (or at least, being his gleefully selfish character's son) is about exactly as frustrating as you'd expect.
